Position Summary:
We are in search of a seasoned and effective senior leader to take on the role of Head of Maintenance Operations. This position is pivotal in ensuring that all equipment at our facility operates efficiently, meeting both customer delivery and quality standards while adhering to regulatory and industry best practices.
Facility Overview:
The CP2 LNG facility is designed as a natural gas liquefaction export terminal with a capacity of 20 million metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) of LNG, with peak capabilities reaching approximately 24 MTPA. It features 18 LNG blocks for liquefaction and four full containment storage tanks for optimal LNG management. The facility also includes two marine loading docks and an on-site power generation system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all maintenance operations to ensure safety and efficiency while aligning with business objectives.
- Direct the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities across power, process, and marine sectors.
- Establish and develop the maintenance department from the ground up.
- Set maintenance performance targets and ensure compliance with annual, quarterly, and monthly goals.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, implementing controls for expenditures.
- Maintain and update the plant's predictive maintenance program for all equipment.
- Develop and approve contracts for maintenance-related services and manage procurement processes.
- Enhance equipment reliability and corrosion control through engineering improvements.
- Ensure timely maintenance planning, scheduling, and inspection activities.
- Manage work scopes for operational readiness and ensure alignment with project milestones.
- Recruit and develop a highly skilled maintenance team, ensuring comprehensive training and competency.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including executive management, to address operational risks and compliance with HSE standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 15 years of combined experience in maintenance and plant engineering within LNG terminals or petrochemical sectors.
- Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role in maintenance and engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of LNG liquefaction facilities and associated equipment.
- Technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Strong budgeting, planning, and scheduling skills.
- High level of HSE knowledge and commitment to safety.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities.
- Proven ability to motivate teams and engage stakeholders effectively.
