Job Overview

Small Door Veterinary is seeking a highly skilled Practice Director to lead our team in providing exceptional care and hospitality to our members and their pets. As a Practice Director, you will be responsible for managing a high-performing team, developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a team of veterinary professionals and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care and customer service
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to optimize average care transaction (ACT) and ensure consistency in invoicing
  • Manage and optimize the appointment schedule, including surgery and specialist bookings, to maximize utilization of our doctors and nurses while ensuring adequate coverage
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in a veterinary or human healthcare practice, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Strong business acumen and ability to analyze data to drive business decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Comfortable with navigating technology platforms, including Excel and Google Suite
