Job Overview

Fawkes IDM seeks a seasoned professional to lead our Practice Groups, driving strategic planning, operations, and business development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in practice management, with experience in corporate transactional practice, particularly in Investment Funds, Financial Restructuring, and Infrastructure and Energy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute Practice Group strategic plans, focusing on revenue, profitability, headcount, reputation, brand awareness, and competitive differentiation.
  • Work with the Finance Department to analyze Practice Group financials and key performance indicators, providing actionable insights for Practice Group management.
  • Partner with the Talent Department to manage a productive workforce, ensuring efficient work assignments, equitable opportunities, and effective performance management.
  • Facilitate lateral attorney onboarding efforts and manage daily business operations, including budgeting, meeting coordination, and process improvement.
  • Enhance client experience by serving as a point of contact for in-house legal operations teams, improving engagement and efficient delivery of legal services.
  • Collaborate with Practice Innovation and administrative departments to drive efficiencies, process improvement, and innovation.
  • Support Practice Chairs with daily operations, including meeting preparation and retreat planning.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in practice management and operations, with a background in corporate transactional practice.
  • Experience working with Investment Funds, Financial Restructuring, and Infrastructure and Energy.
  • Bachelor's degree required, JD or MBA highly preferred.
