Department: Technical Sales

Job Purpose: The Senior Solutions Consultant plays a vital role in driving the growth of the AVEVA/Wonderware distribution channel within the region. This position offers exceptional Technical Sales and consultancy support for AVEVA solutions and other client software. The role may require travel to various locations, including AVEVA offices, distribution channel offices, or customer sites within the region. The consultant will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the Monitor & Control solution domain, actively transferring product and domain knowledge to the AVEVA/Wonderware distribution channel and systems integration community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate sales growth through the AVEVA/Wonderware distribution channel.
  • Impart product and domain knowledge to the AVEVA/Wonderware distribution channel and systems integration community.
  • Articulate the value proposition of our solutions to prospects and partners during presentations, industry events, and seminars.
  • Contribute to the planning, creation, development, and delivery of demonstrations that showcase the value of our solutions.
  • Engage with prospects to identify specific needs and lead the development of tailored technical solutions.
  • Assist in the organization and execution of Proof of Capability presentations and demonstrations for prospects.
  • Collaborate with development staff to create and present demo applications.

Important Working Relationships:

Establish strong working relationships with clients, consistently delivering the highest level of customer service and professionalism. Collaborate with distribution channel sales teams to identify and qualify opportunities, providing technical support throughout the prospect engagement process. Work within a dynamic team environment, demonstrating flexibility in personal and technical skill development to enhance team efficiency. Mentor and coach junior team members.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Typically, 5 years of experience with AVEVA/Wonderware software products for plant operations, along with 2-5 years in a technical sales, pre-sales, or business development role.
  • Substantial practical experience in implementing AVEVA/Wonderware solutions with customers.
  • Demonstrated personal accountability for resolving customer concerns.
  • Able to build effective working relationships with peers and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze the needs of prospective customers.
  • Capacity to self-manage and handle multiple, potentially competing commitments simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range: $175,000 - $293,200.00

This salary range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for the position, with final compensation varying based on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational qualifications.
