Position Overview:

The Senior Solutions Consultant plays a pivotal role in driving the growth of the AVEVA/Wonderware distribution channel within the designated region. This position is essential for delivering exceptional technical sales and consultancy support for AVEVA solutions and other client software.

This role may require travel to various locations, including AVEVA offices, distribution channel offices, or customer sites, often on short notice.

The successful candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the Monitor & Control solution domain, actively sharing product and domain expertise with the AVEVA/Wonderware distribution channel and systems integration community.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate sales growth through the AVEVA/Wonderware distribution channel.
  • Transfer product and domain knowledge to the AVEVA/Wonderware distribution channel and systems integration community.
  • Articulate the value proposition of our solutions to prospects and partners during presentations, industry events, and seminars.
  • Contribute to the planning, creation, development, and delivery of demonstrations that showcase the value of our solutions.
  • Engage with prospects to identify specific needs and lead the development of tailored technical solutions.
  • Assist in organizing and executing Proof of Capability presentations and demonstrations that validate our technical solutions against specific client needs.
  • Collaborate with development teams to create and present demo applications.

Essential Relationships:

Prospects: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and professionalism.

Sales: Collaborate with distribution channel sales teams to identify and qualify opportunities, providing technical support throughout the prospect engagement process.

Technical Team: Work within a dynamic team environment, demonstrating flexibility in personal and technical skill development to enhance team efficiency.

Mentorship: Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members.


Qualifications:
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Typically, 5 years of experience with AVEVA/Wonderware software products for plant operations, alongside 2-5 years in a technical sales, pre-sales, or business development role.
  • Significant practical experience in implementing AVEVA/Wonderware solutions for clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve customer concerns effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with peers and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities to assess and address prospective customer needs.
  • Capacity to self-manage and juggle multiple commitments efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $175,000 to $293,200. This range reflects the minimum and maximum compensation offered, with final salary determined by factors such as work location, experience, skills, and educational background.
