Position Overview:


The Retail Loss Prevention Supervisor is tasked with overseeing all Loss Prevention initiatives and personnel within their designated store.

This role is essential for achieving optimal loss ratio outcomes and safety objectives through effective collaboration with operations, human resources, and store staff.


Job Description:
Accountable for upholding the policies and standards of the Loss Prevention division and the organization.
Develop and implement training and awareness initiatives for the store team.
Foster positive business relationships both internally and externally.
Oversee and mentor Loss Prevention staff at each assigned location.
Formulate and evaluate shortage action plans in the designated area.

Administer and maintain all loss prevention technology, including but not limited to CCTV, access control systems, Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS), and alarm systems.

Oversee all internal and external investigation programs aimed at minimizing theft and fraud.

Requirements:
Proven experience in Internal Investigations, including the use of exception reporting systems and interviewing of dishonest employees.

Experience in managing external apprehension initiatives; demonstrated ability to collaborate with law enforcement and legal professionals on both criminal and civil matters.

Familiarity with current security technologies, including CCTV, covert surveillance, Electronic Article Surveillance, and alarm systems for burglary and fire.

Possess strong business acumen, intelligence, and creativity.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and negotiation skills.
Ability to apply sound business principles and practices.
Capacity to train and develop staff while maintaining organized documentation.
Ability to promote accountability and manage performance across diverse skill sets.
Excellent communication skills, strong strategic thinking, sound business judgment, and proven consultative abilities with all management levels.
Exceptional presentation skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Willingness to travel.
A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Retail Loss Prevention Management, including responsibilities for District/Regional Executives and teams.
