Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our Coach and Tour Fleet Maintenance team in New Britain, CT. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles, as well as diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles
  • Perform diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles
  • Complete required paperwork with regards to repair orders and parts usage
  • Make road calls and own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions
  • Follow orders of the shop foreman or other supervisor

Requirements

  • High school diploma, trade school, or equivalent
  • Training or experience in the field of automotive, truck, or bus repair
  • Driver's license and eligibility to hold a CDL license
  • Adequate English verbal and written communication skills
  • Physical strength and conditioning to perform all required tasks
