Position Overview

As a Customer Service Associate at Atticus Market, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations while providing exceptional service to our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include managing transactions, assisting with takeout services, and being the welcoming face of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, guiding them to the appropriate locations within the store.
  • Deliver constructive feedback to management to uphold high standards of food quality and service.
  • Maintain the core service principles of Atticus Market by providing prompt and friendly service.
  • Monitor inventory levels and inform management of low stock to ensure product availability.
  • Ensure the removal of expired items in accordance with company policies.
  • Perform stocking duties, including lifting and organizing products to maintain a tidy store environment.
  • Efficiently process customer orders, including scanning, bagging, and providing receipts.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the POS system to facilitate quick and accurate transactions.
  • Stay informed about the products offered at Atticus, including beverages, baked goods, and retail items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
  • Stay updated on daily pricing changes and manage cash register operations effectively.
  • Assist in training new employees, helping them acclimate to the Atticus culture.
  • Prepare basic beverages from the espresso bar following training completion.
  • Adhere to all company standards, policies, and ethical guidelines.
  • Complete end-of-shift tasks as directed by the shift supervisor.

Reporting Structure

This position reports directly to the General Manager and Shift Supervisor.

Compensation and Advancement

This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth within the company. The starting wage is competitive, with potential annual increases based on performance, plus participation in the hourly tip pool.
