Job Description

SEH America is a leading manufacturer of silicon wafers for the semiconductor industry, with a commitment to excellence, quality, and a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enforce quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform process audits to drive system improvement and validate effectiveness.
  • Evaluate production processes for compliance with quality requirements.
  • Assist in developing audit plans and schedules.
  • Participate in quality audits and lead teams of quality auditors as needed.
  • Follow up on action item closure and escalate as necessary.
  • Develop KPIs to assess the effectiveness of the internal audit system.
  • Ensure adherence to established manufacturing inspection, sampling, and statistical process control procedures.
  • Conduct vendor evaluation audits to determine qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Concrete knowledge of department and company processes, measurements, and quality systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple departments and individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid experience with auditing tools and statistical analysis methods.
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to work with multiple managerial levels.
  • Ability to work in a production environment and obtain a passport for international travel.

Work Environment:

Must be able to read, comprehend, and execute complex instructions and procedures. Must be able to work in a clean room environment wearing clean room suite, hood, booties, safety glasses, and gloves. May require the use of hands to finger, grasp, handle, or feel objects, tools, and controls. Kneeling, bending, and crouching positions, as well as lifting, may be required. Occasionally lifts up to 25 lbs. Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods and sit for long intervals. Close vision required. Hazardous chemicals or vapors may be present in the work area depending on assignment. Exposure to occasionally loud noise levels. A high degree of safety consciousness is required for all positions at SEH America. Occasional international travel may be required. Must be able to obtain a passport and travel to required destinations. Standard work schedule is Monday – Friday days. Night and weekend work may be required depending on project assignment.
