Job Summary

At Lightspeed Construction Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify Quality Assurance Specifications: Ensure that all company technical quality assurance specifications for construction are followed for inspected jobs.
  • Perform Quality Control Inspections: Conduct quality control inspections by reviewing work completed by contract and in-house technicians.
  • Interact with Customers: Interact with business customers and representatives, demonstrating an understanding of and regard for construction projects.
  • Assist Supervisor: Assist the supervisor, when necessary, in following up on unacceptable workmanship to ensure work is completed to customer and company specifications.
  • Recognize and Escalate Quality Issues: Recognize and escalate to a supervisor persistent quality or other observed factors that could impact the ongoing relationship between client and company.
  • Evaluate Quality Standards: Evaluate quality standards audit program to ensure all work passes the client's specifications prior to billing.
  • Utilize Construction Tasks: Utilize and demonstrate proficiency with construction tasks, tools, test equipment, and information that will enhance quality results.
  • Enter Inspection Findings: Enter inspection findings in established company database in accordance with policy and procedures.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records.
  • Operate Company Vehicle: Operate a company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner; Clean, maintain, stock, and secure assigned vehicle and equipment in accordance with company policies.
  • Adhere to Regulations: Adhere to industry-specific, local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable.
  • Know and Understand Company Policy: Know, understand, and follow company policy.
  • Perform Other Duties: Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
  • Drive Quality Culture: Assist in driving a quality-centered culture in all project and field offices.
Qualifications:
  • English Language Proficiency: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Financial Management Skills: Solid financial management skills including forecasting, analyzing, and planning.
  • Analytic and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Leadership Qualities: Demonstrated leadership qualities.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently.
  • Computer Skills: Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e., word processing, spreadsheet, etc.).
