Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to technologists for all instruments and equipment
- Develop and perform validation protocols for new tests and instruments
- Perform competency evaluations for assigned positions
- Provide training on new equipment and test procedures
- Ensure preventative maintenance is performed on a regular schedule
- Review and prepare daily quality control and quality assurance reports
- Bachelor's Degree in Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Chemical Science, or Physical Science
- Minimum of 4 years of experience meeting CLIA and CAP requirements for a technical supervisor with a BS degree
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently or as part of a team
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance, move around the area with occasional sitting, and perform fine motor skills to grasp and control medical equipment.
