Business Office Associate

As a Business Office Associate at CarMax, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Your responsibilities will include facilitating the sales, auction, and appraisal process, as well as managing cash, processing paperwork, and providing support to store personnel and other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist store personnel and departments in their daily functions while adhering to CarMax guidelines
Provide customer service by greeting customers, balancing overflow traffic, and answering questions
Process paperwork associated with retail/wholesale automobile sales, including printing daily reports, maintaining deal jackets, and contacting finance companies
Manage multiple pay types, including receiving and counting money, distributing funds, and preparing deposits
Process paperwork affiliated with the state DMV, including submitting paperwork necessary to title or register a vehicle for a customer
Requirements:
Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records
Use of resources and partnership to balance the needs of the customer and the business
Understanding of numeric filing systems and ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and other programs
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment
Physical ability to lift objects weighing up to 15-20 lbs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
