POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Sales and Events Manager to join our team at 504 Golf, a leading golf entertainment venue in the heart of New Orleans. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, event planning, and providing exceptional customer experiences.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Sales Management:
    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various channels, including cold calls, networking, and digital marketing.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and individuals to drive repeat business.
    • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by proactively selling event packages and corporate memberships.
  • Event Planning & Coordination:
    • Work closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements, creating personalized event experiences.
    • Liaise with internal teams (catering, operations, entertainment) to ensure smooth execution of events.
    • Coordinate with external vendors for event supplies, entertainment, and other services as required.
  • Marketing & Promotions:
    • In collaboration with the General Manager, develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote events and drive attendance.
    • Utilize social media platforms to create buzz and engage with potential clients and event attendees.
    • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to promote our venue and services.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, event planning, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities & events simultaneously.
    • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Hospitality/Restaurant operations technology.
Working Conditions
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of the business.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the facility for extended periods.
  • Occasional travel for training, conferences, and meetings.
