Job Title: Event Sales Manager

Common House is seeking a dedicated and experienced Event Sales Manager to oversee the sales, strategy, and reporting of hundreds of events annually, including weddings, rehearsal dinners, and corporate retreats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Marketing: Sell and book all events, from responding to inquiries to creating initial proposals/contracts for corporate meetings, non-profit fundraisers, work retreats, etc.
  • Event Management: Manage multiple unique rentable spaces and all-inclusive services.
  • Client Relationships: Set up phone calls and tours for potential clients, upsell booked clients on premium experiences or products, and maintain and nurture client relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Strategy and Reporting: Generate event leads through community outreach and networking with local wedding vendors, corporate companies, universities, etc., track data on leads, bookings, and event executions to inform pricing, decision-making, and marketing strategies, and update the event pacing document weekly.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of full-service event sales experience.
  • Excellent leadership and networking skills.
  • Enthusiasm about growing the department.
