Job Title: Datacenter Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Solutions Architect to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our datacenter engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge datacenter solutions for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage the installation of datacenter infrastructure systems, including cooling, power systems, structured cabling, and telecommunications distribution systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure the integration of datacenter infrastructure with the overall construction project.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of datacenter designs, including diagrams, specifications, and operational instructions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed datacenter solutions.
  • Work closely with vendors to ensure the procurement of necessary equipment and materials.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of datacenter systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for datacenter systems, including resolving any issues that may arise during the construction or operation phases.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in datacenter design and management, specifically within the construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in datacenter cooling, power systems, structured cabling, and telecommunications distribution systems.
  • Strong understanding of datacenter standards and regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex datacenter projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Vendor management experience, with a strong understanding of the procurement process for datacenter equipment and materials.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, including CAD and project management tools.
