Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Korvis. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing manufacturing processes and systems to support our product development and production operations.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop manufacturing processes and systems to meet project schedules and product deliveries.
- Read, understand, and act upon mechanical and electrical drawings, including piece part and assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, work instructions, and procedures.
- Identify and implement design or manufacturing improvements to enhance performance, increase reliability, or reduce cost.
- Design and maintain test fixtures and setups as needed.
- Coordinate and plan verification and validation activities.
- Participate in project planning and provide technical guidance to other engineers, technicians, and technical resources.
- Communicate with vendors to support production and address issues.
- Perform inspection and testing on components and assemblies built by 3rd party vendors or by Korvis employees.
- Specify assembly tools, measuring tools, or equipment required to perform tasks as documentation dictates.
- 4-year degree in a technical field.
- 2+ years of experience as an engineer in the automation industry or a related field.
- SolidWorks and/or AutoCad experience.
- Demonstrated ability to perform mechanical and/or inspection on components and assemblies.
- Ability to gather information, correlate the information, and make informal and formal presentations to Korvis employees and customers.
- Ability to write clear and concise procedures and reports.
- Ability to participate in and effectively communicate and lead in group discussions and meetings.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
