Core Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee multiple construction projects at water and wastewater facilities, pumping stations, and civil construction sites concurrently.
  • Create detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets in partnership with project teams, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure smooth execution and adherence to project objectives.
  • Track project progress, quality, and safety compliance throughout all construction phases.
  • Identify potential risks proactively and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Act as the primary liaison for engineers and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers to prepare and present regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
  • Oversee project budgets, financial forecasts, and resource allocations to maximize project profitability.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork among project teams.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in the construction sector, particularly in water and wastewater facilities, pumping stations, or civil construction.
  • Strong technical understanding of construction techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Exceptional leadership and decision-making abilities with a knack for motivating and mentoring project teams.
  • Solid grasp of project management principles, practices, and tools.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and the MS Office suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • PMP or equivalent certification (preferred).
