Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Eaton Construction Services. This role requires a strong leader with extensive experience in managing complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Estimating: Lead the preparation and review of project estimates, including cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage multiple commercial construction projects, ensuring all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Budget and Schedule Management: Develop, monitor, and control project budgets and schedules. Identify potential issues early and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Client and Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, maintaining clear communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor project teams, including site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure high performance and adherence to project goals.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Oversee the preparation and maintenance of all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED AP) are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
    • Solid understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
