Nursing and Health Sciences Program Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
As a Program Coordinator, you will provide essential support to students, faculty, and the Director of Nursing. Your primary duties will include:
  • Collaborating with program coordinators to draft course schedules, subject to the Director of Nursing's approval.
  • Monitoring enrollment and making recommendations for course adjustments in partnership with the Centralized Scheduling Office.
  • Ensuring compliance with College policies by tracking faculty loads and course assignments.
  • Maintaining awareness of curriculum changes and monitoring degree and certificate requirements.
  • Managing student clinical requirements and compliance for those in Nursing and Health Sciences.
  • Assisting faculty and program coordinators with the creation and submission of program-specific applications.
  • Providing timely responses to student inquiries regarding courses, programs, and admissions.
  • Maintaining accurate program records and supporting the re-accreditation process.
  • Participating in program-specific events and marketing initiatives.
  • Supervising classified staff and student workers as needed.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • A Bachelor's degree or a combination of an Associate's degree and relevant work experience is required.
    • A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of three years of experience in related fields or with similar responsibilities is required.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and represent the College professionally is required.
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are necessary.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook, is required.
    • Experience in higher education or customer service is preferred.


Working Conditions:
  • Some local travel may be required.
  • This position requires a background check and drug screening.
