Position Overview

Lazy Bear is seeking a dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in a high-end dining environment, preferably with a Michelin background.
  • Individuals with a career-oriented mindset who are eager to grow alongside us.
  • Positive attitude, personal integrity, meticulous attention to detail, dedication to cleanliness, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative spirit.
  • California Food Handler Certification is required.
  • References from previous supervisors or chefs are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receiving and organizing deliveries.
  • Performing light butchering and protein fabrication.
  • Setting up kitchen stations and ensuring they are ready for service.
  • Preparing mise en place and assembling kits for various recipes.
  • Creating stocks and foundational sauces.
  • Conducting detailed vegetable preparation and groundwork for preservation tasks.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace at all times.
  • Executing dishes during service with precision.
