Position Details:
Standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with additional hours on Saturdays from 8:45 AM to 12:15 PM.
Compensation for this hourly role is competitive, with opportunities for monthly incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Engages in essential functions across various areas, which may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Adheres to the Service Standards of the Credit Union in fulfilling GreenState's mission and vision.

Exhibits a consistently positive client service approach (both internal and external), welcoming clients and visitors with a friendly demeanor and eye contact upon their arrival, using their names or acknowledging them, and expressing gratitude for their business.

Fosters teamwork in all interactions with colleagues and in the execution of all responsibilities.
Ensures the confidentiality of client information.
Promotes a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Sales - Inquire, listen to clients' needs, and propose solutions that best address their requirements.

Functions as a cohesive team member, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage positively with fellow employees.

Maintains confidentiality of client account records and information. Requests identification when necessary and provides account details only to those clients designated as primary or joint account holders.
Identifies each client to uncover opportunities for additional services.
Responsible for structuring loan applications, collaborating with underwriters, and adhering to all lending policies and regulations.
Conducts weekly outreach calls to clients.
Performs all aspects of the Client Relations Specialist role.

This includes the ability to accurately balance a cash drawer daily and a solid understanding of all credit union policies and procedures regarding cash handling, check processing, and identification verification.

Builds client relationships by recognizing their financial needs and fulfilling those needs with the appropriate GreenState products and services or referring them to specialized departments (Wealth Management, Commercial, Mortgage, GreenState Insurance, etc.) for further assistance.

Participates in promotions, contests, and other departmental initiatives that support team objectives.
Responsible for the sale of loan protection products.
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of all federal regulations and procedures related to deposits.
Performs vault duties including cash ordering, balancing, drawer audits, scheduling, and other assigned tasks.
Plays a crucial role in enriching the community by engaging in community service organizations and/or Credit Union-sponsored events.
Qualifications

Job Requirements:


Must possess at least one year of relevant experience or 12 months in a Client Relations role with knowledge of all credit union accounts and products, demonstrating the ability to manage a diverse range of functions swiftly and accurately.

High energy, sales aptitude, and interpersonal skills to represent the credit union positively and professionally.
Ability to coordinate and prioritize work tasks and organize responsibilities efficiently. Must exhibit strong time management skills to meet established deadlines.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in relevant computer applications, spreadsheets, word processing, and database management.
Demonstrated relationship-building skills and techniques.
Must be self-driven, exercise sound judgment, and work independently.
Ability to maintain composure and resolve issues as they arise.
Ability to cultivate and sustain positive and effective working relationships.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment.
Consistently reports to work on time, fulfills all scheduled hours, and works overtime as required by business needs.
High school diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED).
Must be bondable.
Must be registered in accordance with the requirements of the S.A.F.E Act.
