Role Summary: The Patient Care Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing client interactions from the moment they arrive until their departure. This includes documenting medical notes, formulating treatment plans, collaborating with technical teams, and conducting follow-ups after visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold the Core Values and Mission Statement of the organization.
  • Prepare clients for their visits by reaching out ahead of time to set expectations and address any inquiries.
  • Greet clients warmly upon arrival and guide them to the examination area.
  • Accurately record medical information provided by veterinarians during examinations and ensure that records are updated with relevant diagnostic results.
  • Develop, present, and clarify treatment plans in alignment with veterinarian directives.
  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure the veterinarian's treatment plan is executed effectively.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and future wellness checks.
  • Facilitate the fulfillment of prescriptions, providing necessary explanations to clients and coordinating delivery as needed.
  • Clearly communicate discharge instructions and address any client questions.
  • Manage client checkouts and process payments in the examination room.
  • Conduct follow-up communications with clients to check on their pets' well-being and relay any test results.

Additional Duties:

  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.
