Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Overhead Door Technician to join our team at KSI. As an Overhead Door Technician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing overhead doors and door openers for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair overhead doors and door openers in various work environments
  • Service and maintain existing overhead door systems
  • Load and unload vehicles with necessary tools and equipment
  • Ensure vehicles are stocked with required parts and tools
  • Perform daily tasks with minimal supervision
Requirements and Skills
  • Working knowledge of electrical components and mechanical systems
  • Ability to climb ladders, handle heavy lifting, and work in confined spaces
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Hardworking and dependable individual with a clean and valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
  • Proficient in welding and previous experience in the construction industry is preferred
Physical Demands
  • Ability to run a man-lift or scissor lift up to 50' elevation
  • Able to use a variety of hand and power tools
  • Ladder climbing, ladder climbing with load, and working from a ladder
  • Work while sitting, standing, and kneeling
  • Ability to lift, unaided, 75 pounds
  • Ability to drive safely
  • Position movements include walking, turning, stooping, and reaching for or carrying product
