Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Engineer to join our team at CoorsTek. As an Equipment Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance requirements and intervals, working closely with manufacturers and our maintenance team to create work instructions.
  • Equipment Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve equipment problems through root cause analysis, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and World Class tools.
  • Facilitation and Project Management: Facilitate team decisions on equipment scope and manage project budgets.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Discipline, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred, with 10 years of experience or 15 years of equivalent progressive responsibility.
  • Technical Knowledge and Skills: Hands-on approach to solving equipment and systems problems, expertise in various field concepts, practices, and procedures, ability to interpret technical specifications and mechanical drawings, and solid understanding of high-temperature kiln furnaces.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Equipment Maintenance Experience: Experience with electrical/electronic controls, software, and mechanical areas, with a PLC background.
  • High-Powered Testing Equipment: Experience with high-powered testing equipment, high-temperature processes, vacuum pumps, gas control systems, machining equipment, laser equipment, and HVAC.
