About the Role

At Veterans Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform scheduled building improvements, arrange for ongoing facility maintenance and repairs, and detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.
  • Facility Upkeep: Assist with upkeep and cleanliness of interior and exterior of company buildings, including snow blowing, shoveling, and salting around buildings.
  • Project Management: Complete facility renovations and special projects, assist in preparation of plans, and follow set schedules for facilities projects.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform repairs and/or installs company machinery, equipment, or appliances, and provide information on facility maintenance problems and cyclical replacement items.
  • Emergency Response: Responsible for evaluating and handling building emergencies when they arise.
Requirements
  • Education: Trade school or high school diploma graduate.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of general building repair and maintenance experience.
  • Certifications: Certificate in a trade program is preferred.
  • Availability: Must be available to work some weekend days.
  • Background Check: Must be able to pass a CORI Background records check.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination: Compliance with Veterans Inc. COVID-19 Vaccination Policy. Religious and Medical Exemptions are considered.
