Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee warranty and claims management.
- Supervise daily maintenance operations across various disciplines including appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Ensure the property’s exterior and overall appearance are maintained through snow removal, landscaping, and waste management.
- Conduct monthly inspections of buildings and units to confirm adherence to operational standards.
- Analyze third-party property inspections to address maintenance issues.
- Develop work schedules for other supervisors and contractors to fulfill service requests and uphold the preventive maintenance strategy.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all maintenance initiatives and capital improvement projects.
- Solicit contractor bids with necessary approvals.
- Participate in after-hours on-call duties and emergency responses.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in maintenance.
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
- General understanding of electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in computer systems, especially Microsoft Office.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Able to lead and collaborate with a diverse team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational or technical training.
- CAMT certification.
- HVAC certification.
