Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee warranty and claims management.
  • Supervise daily maintenance operations across various disciplines including appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
  • Ensure the property’s exterior and overall appearance are maintained through snow removal, landscaping, and waste management.
  • Conduct monthly inspections of buildings and units to confirm adherence to operational standards.
  • Analyze third-party property inspections to address maintenance issues.
  • Develop work schedules for other supervisors and contractors to fulfill service requests and uphold the preventive maintenance strategy.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all maintenance initiatives and capital improvement projects.
  • Solicit contractor bids with necessary approvals.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call duties and emergency responses.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in maintenance.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • General understanding of electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and HVAC systems.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, especially Microsoft Office.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Able to lead and collaborate with a diverse team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Vocational or technical training.
  • CAMT certification.
  • HVAC certification.
