Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Clinical Manager to join our team at Rhode Island Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing nursing care and managing resources for a specific unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee nursing care across different age groups, taking into consideration developmental stages and cultural factors throughout the nursing process.
  • Participate in quality assessment programs to evaluate the effectiveness of care provided.
  • Enhance unit performance through education initiatives and the adoption of new concepts and technologies.
  • Lead the development of policies, procedures, and care standards to improve patient outcomes.

  • Staff the unit efficiently based on patient needs and available resources.
  • Document and communicate staff performance evaluations with suggestions for improvement.
  • Collaborate interdisciplinarily to support staff development.
