Job Summary

The Market Segment Manager - Growth Strategist will drive business growth by leading Sealed Air Corporation's strategic relationship with a portfolio of existing and targeted customers. This role is responsible for delivering budgeted sales and profit objectives by leveraging cross-functional resources and value-based partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute customer-specific growth strategies to drive revenue and margin growth within existing accounts and capture new opportunities within target accounts.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships at all levels of customer procurement, product development, marketing, and manufacturing to understand customer needs, priorities, and drivers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to enhance the overall value proposition for customers.
  • Manage ongoing contract adherence and proactively sell product innovation to drive business growth.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts by customer and maintain CRM excellence, including call planning, post-call reporting, and opportunity management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of sales experience in the flexible or packaging industry.
  • Strong customer focus, drive for results, negotiating skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Full grasp of virtual selling tools and ability to present in these tools.
  • CRM excellence and Microsoft Suite experience.

Work Environment:

This is a remote position with travel up to 50%.
