As a vital member of the Fox Rothschild national marketing and business development team, the Regional Marketing Coordinator (RMC) will collaborate with attorneys and leadership in designated areas to enhance the visibility of specific offices within the region, foster connections between office lawyers and the local business community, and link lawyers in those offices to the comprehensive resources and expertise of the entire firm.

This role will support offices of various sizes and activity levels.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Drive strategic thinking in the development of marketing plans and office budgets in partnership with the Office Administrator and Office Managing Partner.


2. Collaborate closely with attorneys in assigned offices to integrate them into the local business landscape, while serving as the liaison to the Business Development Managers and their respective practice groups across the firm.


3. Work in conjunction with the Assistant Director of Media Relations to identify and utilize the most effective local media outlets.


4. Conduct research to uncover community norms related to publications, sponsorships, events, organizational memberships, and more. Partner with the Marketing events team on local initiatives.


5. Engage with Communications, Events, Marketing Technology, and Graphics team members to coordinate communications, events, and technology projects, ensuring exceptional internal and external client service, optimal resource allocation, and adherence to firm branding and best practices.


6. Provide strategic guidance on specific office integration to the Business Development & Marketing Department and other administrative offices.


7. Act as the primary local resource and advisor for Business Development & Marketing activities for assigned offices, while connecting the office to functional experts within the Business Development & Marketing Department.


8. Liaise with Knowledge Management to gather and analyze competitive intelligence, industry research, and corporate information, assisting attorneys in synthesizing this information.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in communications, marketing, or a related field.

Experience:
A minimum of three years of experience is preferred, ideally within the legal sector or professional services marketing.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketing and business development professional with a background in a professional services environment.

Strong presentation skills and the ability to quickly establish credibility are essential.


Demonstrated capacity to collaborate with individuals at all levels within the firm and the Marketing Department team is required.


Ability to cultivate healthy, productive professional relationships across various locations is desired.


Must possess strategic and analytical thinking capabilities, along with effective communication skills with firm leadership and management.


Strong writing and critical thinking skills are necessary, as well as a solid client-service orientation.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position operates in a standard office setting. Routine use of office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines is expected.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sedentary work:
Involves exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. The role primarily involves sitting, with occasional walking and standing required to fulfill job duties.

VISUAL ACUITY:


Close visual acuity is necessary for activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
