The Mobile Maintenance Supervisor will operate across a designated area in Ithaca, NY, with a maximum commuting distance of 60 minutes.

The salary range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00. Actual compensation may vary based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, and location. This range does not include additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of both indoor and outdoor areas of the community.
  • Indoor maintenance tasks will involve routine painting, carpentry, drywall work, cleaning, minor plumbing, basic electrical work, flooring, and other maintenance activities in response to work orders; also preparing vacant units for new residents.
  • Outdoor maintenance will include trash management, mowing, trimming shrubs, cultivating flower beds, and snow, ice, salting, and debris removal as necessary.
  • Maintaining timely communication with team members for prompt follow-up on work orders.
  • Responding to emergency on-call duties on a rotational basis, within 30 minutes of notification as required or assigned. May also cover other properties for on-call duties as needed.
  • Must be adaptable to changing work priorities to meet project deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when assigned.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrates pride in delivering quality work and meeting residents' needs.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in apartment or home repair maintenance skills such as drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical work, flooring, and cleaning; HVAC experience is a plus or training will be provided.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Basic computer skills are helpful for timekeeping, emails, online training modules, and work order processing, or willingness to learn.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Strong time management, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills for interaction with internal and external customers.
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking is a plus.
