Position Overview:

As a Certified Testing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the aerospace sector, focusing on the assembly and testing of critical emergency power generation systems. Your expertise will contribute to the safety and reliability of aircraft operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems to perform testing operations.
  • Install, calibrate, and operate various types of instrumentation with precision.
  • Employ measuring tools such as micrometers and thread gauges to ensure accuracy in testing.
  • Fabricate test equipment or hardware according to engineering specifications using hand and power tools.
  • Conduct tests on electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and hydro-mechanical products, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Document test results accurately and maintain records of all testing activities.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve testing issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all test equipment is properly maintained.
  • Participate in quality control assessments and provide feedback on testing procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for access to sensitive information.
  • Familiarity with MS Windows and basic mathematical calculations.
  • Experience in plumbing or possession of an A&P License is preferred.
