Medical Specialist

As a Center Medical Specialist at Grifols, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of donors. Your primary responsibility will be to perform physical examinations and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability. You will also be responsible for building rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction and ensuring donor and staff confidentiality. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing donor education regarding general health and counseling regarding unacceptable test results. You will also evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events, as well as perform evaluations of any history of illness or medications to ensure continued donor suitability. Furthermore, you will assist in employee training and administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocation Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT. You must also have current CPR certification.
