We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at HexaQuEST Health, Inc. The ideal candidate will have three or more years of experience in phlebotomy and be certified in phlebotomy. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients, performing laboratory tests, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood specimens from patients using aseptic technique and following established procedures
- Perform laboratory tests, including waived testing, and report results to healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, test results, and specimen collection
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient specimen collection and laboratory testing
- Three or more years of experience in phlebotomy
- Current phlebotomy certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and follow established procedures
