Position Summary:
This role, which can be performed from an office or home, merges strong sales acumen with engineering principles to cultivate new and repeat business in our Vacuum Jacketed Piping (VJP) sector.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop new business opportunities within a designated territory by selling products that require technical knowledge, effective presentations, and outstanding support.
2. Build a prospect list, identify key contacts, and arrange meetings to foster relationships.
3. Manage existing client relationships to position OPW for future growth.
4. Act as a project manager, guiding customers from initial sale through project completion.
5. Represent OPW at industry seminars and trade shows to demonstrate the value and practicality of our products and services.

Handle all incoming and outgoing communications regarding applications and engineering of cryogenic products, aiming to convert inquiries into sales. Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications to tailor products and configurations to meet client needs. Prepare and provide detailed quotations, including pricing matrices and project timelines.

Ensure all necessary documentation, including Bills of Materials (BOM), drawings, and technical manuals, are accurately produced and maintained. Confirm that approved designs are transitioned into fabrication drawings for each segment of pipe assembly.

As a Project Manager, coordinate various stages of customer service and project execution, which may include conducting on-site surveys for precise measurements of pipe routing. Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the sales cycle, fostering long-term relationships.

Provide technical assistance to clients regarding the operation and maintenance of equipment, and collaborate with various departments to resolve issues as they arise. Document all customer and sales data accurately in Excel and Access.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of industrial experience, particularly in designing and laying out piping systems.
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial sales, with knowledge of VJP being advantageous.
- Strong spatial intelligence to visualize 3-D pipe routings into isometric drawings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A self-motivated and competitive nature, with a strong desire to achieve results.
- An interest or knowledge in cryogenics is a plus.
- The ability to work from an office or remotely and a willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Access is essential; experience with AutoCAD is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to navigate job sites, including climbing ladders and maneuvering in tight spaces. The role involves physical activities such as bending, walking, and hands-on measurements.

Work Arrangement:
This position may involve onsite responsibilities.
