Position Summary

This role will be responsible for designing/implementing/supporting JD Edwards based solutions for a Global Manufacturing company. You will be the primary point person for all things JD Edwards and integrations with supporting third party applications. Troubleshoot problems, recommend/design solutions, test, train users, implement, support. Assisting you will be an in-house developer and a support team of contract consultants and additional developers. You will report to the IT Director. We need a hands-on person that can work on multiple projects/tickets, solve issues and move the business forward.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • First level support for JDE application issues or questions
  • Monitor “Alert” reports for potential issues and resolve, i.e. sales orders shipped not billed.
  • Monitor EDI interface for Sales orders, Invoices and Purchase orders and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Create/Maintain ERP reports using ReportsNow.
  • Identify issues with other 3rd party tools (Transform forms, credit card processing, job scheduler) and coordinate resolution with support structure.
  • Maintain JDE Versions and Menus via OMW toolset. Maintain UDC tables or Supplemental data.
  • Make recommendations and work on small projects to improve business processes.
  • Participate and influence larger teams with solutions to move the business forward.
  • Train/Educate users on various modules of JD Edwards


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field – or Accounting/Finance with IT skills.
  • 5 + years’ experience supporting JD Edwards Enterprise One applications (9.0 and above)
  • Experience supporting JDE Sales, Transportation, Inventory and Purchase order Modules.
  • Knowledge of JDE database, common tables, and relationships between them.
  • Knowledgeable in JDE setup of UDC tables, application constants, processing options, etc.
  • Ability to prototype, test, walk thru business processes in test system.
  • Learn and understand to various levels all third-party integrations and be able to provide hands on fixes to problems or coordinate solution with third party support.


Beneficial Skills/Experience

  • Familiar with additional JDE Modules: PDM, EDI, Manufacturing, Case Management-Service-RMA, Finance
  • Report writing experience with ReportsNow, Insight, Oracle tools or another toolset.
  • AS/400/IBM iSeries experience with SQL tools, PDM, DDS, CL commands, etc.
  • Bottomline Transform Forms Automation (designer tool and/or administration)
  • TIDAL job automation or similar tool (Robot).
  • Familiar with SmarterCommerce credit card processing setup/support
  • RFGEN administration/support, or other RF toolset.


Work Environment

  • Hybrid/Remote allowed. Occasional travel to Georgia. A plus if located in Atlanta area.
  • Work in US EST time zone with flexibility needed to support Europe and Asia facilities.
