Job Description:

The Bureau of the Controller within the Division of Finance seeks a skilled professional to assume the role of Assistant Director of Programmatic Fiscal Affairs. This position involves leading a team responsible for financial management and planning within the Division of Mental Hygiene.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising payment analysts and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and directives.
  • Collaborating with the Director to develop and implement fiscal plans and strategies.
  • Providing training and support to unit staff on fiscal systems and procedures.
  • Preparing reports on expenses and outstanding obligations to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
  • Managing the unit in the absence of the supervisor and participating in special projects assigned by the Director.

The ideal candidate will possess a master's degree in a relevant field and 2 years of experience in fiscal management, or a bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience in a related field, including 18 months of executive, managerial, administrative, or supervisory experience.
