POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Intelligence Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating various Business Intelligence initiatives for designated clients and stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to generate insights-driven projects and recommendations aligned with strategic goals.
  • Engage in the category review process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver holistic category management solutions.
  • Develop and sustain client-specific reporting systems that evaluate performance against established strategies and objectives.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and business managers through regular communication, positioning oneself as a trusted advisor.
  • Create impactful sales presentations utilizing syndicated data, shopper insights, and other relevant sources to propose solutions for business challenges.
  • Ensure consistent communication with clients to maintain clarity on KPIs, innovations, and other critical information.
  • Follow up on projects and summarize outcomes; document success stories.
  • Participate in sales meetings with assigned clients.
  • Fulfill physical requirements as outlined.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Relevant Certification or License.
  • Preferred: Category Management Certification.
  • Equivalent work experience may substitute for educational qualifications.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Proficient in Windows and related software applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and advanced macros; knowledge of Power BI is advantageous.
  • Experience with syndicated data and/or space management tools is essential.
  • Ability to identify and utilize relevant data to assess situations and propose potential solutions.
  • Capable of conducting independent data mining using CPG mathematical concepts and tools.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to adapt to various audiences.
  • Independently manage project timelines and ensure effective tracking and communication.
  • Adept at recognizing issues and determining necessary information for diagnosis.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to meeting the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Skilled in executing strategic objectives and providing input to maintain project priorities.
