Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking an Applied Scientist to join our team.

The Applied Scientist will design, lead, and execute experiments, projects, and production trials in laboratory and pilot plant environments. This role involves conducting data analysis and preparing comprehensive project reports aimed at developing new products or enhancing existing ones.

Operate pilot and laboratory-scale equipment.
Responsible for the design and execution of experiments.
Collaborate with operations to ensure the successful implementation of new commercial processes and the optimization of current processes.
Draft project charters, experimental designs, perform data analysis, and prepare final project reports to ensure effective communication.
Record, collate, evaluate, and interpret experimental data to provide informed recommendations and documentation.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field is required.
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Experience in a laboratory or dairy processing environment is preferred.

Work Environment:


Our operations consist of multiple facilities dedicated to producing a variety of cheeses and dairy ingredients. We produce various types of cheeses, including parmesan, romano, asiago, gouda, muenster, Monterey Jack, and cheddar.

We also manage various whey streams, such as whey protein isolate (WPI), whey protein concentrate 34 (WPC 34), whey protein concentrate 80 (WPC 80), and both pharma and food-grade lactose.

Agropur's operations produce a significant volume of quality, award-winning cheese annually.

We create numerous varieties and provide whey protein and dry ingredients as by-products of the cheesemaking process.
