Job Overview:
The role involves executing tasks typical of a mechanical technician and carpenter. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, effectively collaborating with clients and colleagues. Responsibilities include interpreting verbal or written directives, sketches, diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and vendor manuals, while adhering to all relevant codes and specifications. The position entails conducting repairs and preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment, ensuring all tasks are performed safely, securely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including clearing blockages in sinks and toilets, replacing supply lines, p-traps, and faucets. Diagnose and perform preventive maintenance on evaporative coolers, including filter changes and power supply verification. Change light fixture lamps as necessary. Replace switch and outlet covers. Execute various carpentry tasks, including flooring installation, door and cabinet repairs, and roof maintenance. Repair or replace drywall, apply texture, and paint walls and woodwork. Fix or replace windows. Conduct repairs on tile and concrete surfaces. Repair or replace locks, panic hardware, roll-up doors, and associated mechanisms.

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair as outlined above. A valid California Driver's License is mandatory. #LI-Onsite #LI-BN1
