Job Overview:
The role involves performing the tasks typical of a mechanical technician and carpenter. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, effectively collaborating with both clients and team members. Responsibilities include interpreting verbal or written instructions, sketches, diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and vendor manuals while adhering to all relevant codes and specifications. The position requires conducting repairs and preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including unblocking sinks and toilets, and replacing supply lines, p-traps, and faucets. Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on evaporative coolers, including filter changes and power supply verification. Change lamps in light fixtures as needed. Replace switch and outlet covers. Execute various carpentry tasks, including flooring installation, door and cabinet repairs, and roof maintenance. Repair or replace drywall, including texturing and painting of walls and woodwork. Repair or replace windows as necessary. Conduct repairs on tile and concrete surfaces. Repair or replace locks, panic hardware, roll-up doors, and associated hardware.

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair as outlined above. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
