Job Summary:

A Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing duties related to mechanical and carpentry work, including repairs and preventive maintenance of real property facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with experience in plumbing, carpentry, and other related trades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair plumbing fixtures, including unstopping sinks, toilets, changing supply lines, p-traps, and faucets.
  • Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on evaporative coolers, including changing filters and verifying power supply.
  • Perform all forms of carpentry work, including carpet or flooring installation, installing or repairing doors and cabinets, and all necessary roof repairs.
  • Repair or replace drywall, texture, and painting of walls/woodwork.
  • Repair or replace windows.
  • Repair tile and concrete.
  • Repair or replace locks or panic hardware, roll-up doors, and hardware.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years' experience in maintenance and repair.
  • Valid California Driver's License.
