Desktop Support Specialist

At RICEFW Technologies, we are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills and be able to work effectively with our in-house teams to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to help desk tickets and work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems.
- Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems, including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, computer conferencing systems, application servers, and administrative systems.
- Build and configure new user workstation equipment sets, including PC, desktop image, phone, peripherals, software, and user accounts.
- Troubleshoot basic network, software, and printing problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with various technologies and roles, including PC/laptop break/fix, HW/SW installation and configuration, and scripting.
- Required/Desired Skills:
- Experience providing hardware/software support to end users.
- Experience installing hardware and software on workstations and servers.
- Experience in Windows environment.
- Experience providing telephone support to users.
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite, TEAMS, SharePoint, and Service Now.
Requirements:
- Absences greater than two weeks must be approved by CAI management in advance, and contact information must be provided to CAI so that the resource can be reached during his or her absence.
- The Client has the right to dismiss the resource if he or she does not return to work by the agreed-upon date.
