Product Director Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Director to lead our product development and strategy for large and/or complex products. As a Product Director, you will be responsible for directing the overall product strategy for the organization, managing and leading the product management team, and collaborating with department heads to ensure product strategy alignment with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead product development and strategy for large and/or complex products.
  • Direct the overall product strategy for the organization.
  • Manage and lead the product management team.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure product strategy alignment with company goals.
  • Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for product initiatives.
  • Product launch and go-to-market strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated ability in product development and delivery with a proven track record in defining winning product constructs and delivering a product roadmap.
  • Prior experience working in a financial industry preferred.
  • A balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a proven track record in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams, and/or working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and product development teams.
  • High degree of proficiency in OKR, Design Thinking, Event Storming, prototyping, iterative development, Scrum, and Agile product development.
