About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Management Director to join our Product Management team at The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation. This role is a key position in our organization, responsible for leading product development and strategy for large and/or complex products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead product development and strategy for large and/or complex products.
- Develop and execute product roadmaps that align with company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product strategy alignment with company goals.
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for product initiatives.
- Direct the overall product strategy for the organization.
- Manage and lead the product management team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated ability in product development and delivery with a proven track record in defining winning product constructs and delivering a product roadmap.
- Prior experience working in a financial industry preferred.
- A balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a proven track record in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams, and/or working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and product development teams.
- High degree of proficiency in OKR, Design Thinking, Event Storming, prototyping, iterative development, Scrum, and Agile product development.
