Job Summary:

Leonardo DRS is seeking an experienced Assembler to join our team in bench work. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technologies for naval submarines and aircraft carriers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget.

• Follow written work instructions and work under minimal supervision on duties and tasks that are frequently non-routine.

• Adapt procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and equipment to meet special needs and perform more detailed tasks that require deeper knowledge and experience in specified processes and procedures.

• Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned goals and effectively communicate with other functional departments.

• Resolve most questions and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher levels and serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty area, e.g., welding, tool making

• U.S. Citizenship required, with an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
