About the Role

We are offering a competitive salary of $ 85,000 per annum, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth. As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease and injuries.

You will work closely with our experienced medical team to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care and support. Your primary duties will include:

  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Ensuring patient comfort and cooperation through effective communication and empathy.
  • Minimizing radiation exposure to patients and staff by utilizing best practices and technology.
  • Documenting patient care services accurately and efficiently.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in Applied Radiologic Science or certification from an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Licensure and registration in the state of New York and/or Connecticut.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic examinations, equipment operation, and radiation safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
