Nurse Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Supervisor to join our team at St. Mary Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our patient care unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, direct, and manage the nursing care delivered to a designated patient population on one or more nursing units.
- Oversee the operation of the patient care unit, including budget preparation, staffing, planning, organizing, and controlling.
- Develop and implement programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patient needs are assessed, evaluated, and met.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote proactive, collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions.
- Role model a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care, built on understanding, commitment, and mutual respect.
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 3 years of experience in an acute hospital environment.
- 2 years of experience in a specialty unit.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Master's Degree
- 2 years of management experience.
