RN Nursing Supervisor

Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA is seeking a skilled Nursing Supervisor to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and managing the nursing care delivered to a designated patient population on one or more nursing units.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide an optimal practice environment that ensures the delivery of quality patient care.
- Oversee the operation of the patient care unit with accountability for leadership, budget preparation, and overall fiscal management.
- Role model proactive, collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Develop programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patient's nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 3 years experience in an acute hospital environment.
- 2 years experience in a specialty unit (Emergency).
