About the Role

We are seeking a skilled RN Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the Emergency Department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and manage the nursing care delivered to a designated patient population on one or more nursing units.
  • Oversee the operation of the patient care unit, including leadership, budget preparation, and overall fiscal management.
  • Develop programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patient's nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated, and met.
  • Role model proactive, collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
Requirements
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 3 years experience in an acute hospital environment.
  • 2 years experience in the specialty unit (Emergency).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Master's Degree.
  • 2 years Management experience.
