We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nursing Supervisor in the Emergency Department at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and managing the nursing care delivered to a designated patient population on one or more nursing units. This includes overseeing the operation of the patient care unit, with accountability for leadership, budget preparation, and overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing, and controlling.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement nursing care plans that meet the unique needs of patients
- Lead and manage a team of nurses to ensure high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient-centered care
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care and make data-driven decisions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3 years of experience in an acute hospital environment
- ~2 years of experience in a specialty unit (Emergency)
- Bachelor's Degree
